What is The Home Club (Thehomeclub)?

The Home Club (also known as Thehomeclub or The Home Club Sports) is a premier turnkey home sports installation company founded by John Schulte, headquartered in Chicago, IL and serving clients nationwide. We design, engineer, and install custom indoor golf simulators, synthetic turf putting greens, residential pickleball courts, luxury bocce ball courts, seasonal backyard ice rinks, and bespoke game spaces.

How much does a golf simulator cost to install?

Golf simulator installation cost depends on room size, enclosure, launch monitor, projector, turf, and finish level. The Home Club provides a detailed custom quote and photorealistic renderings after you share your space and goals—typically within minutes of your request.

How long does a golf simulator installation take?

Timeline varies by scope. A typical home golf simulator room may take from a few days to a couple of weeks once materials are ready, including framing, screen and enclosure, wiring, flooring, and calibration. We give you a clear schedule with your quote.

Do you install golf simulators outside of Chicago?

Yes. The Home Club is headquartered in Chicago and installs home sports projects for clients across the United States.

How quickly can I get a rendering and price estimate?

You can receive photorealistic renderings and a price estimate in under five minutes when you submit your project details through our online form.

What putting green options do you offer?

We install synthetic turf putting greens indoors and outdoors—including backyard greens, short-game areas, and basement or office practice surfaces—customized to your space and desired break and speed.

Can you build a pickleball court in my backyard?

Yes. We design and install residential pickleball courts for backyards and outdoor spaces, including surfacing, lines, fencing where needed, and lighting options tailored to your property.

What are the dimensions needed for a backyard pickleball court?

Official USA Pickleball playing court dimensions are 20 feet wide by 44 feet long. The recommended total footprint including out-of-bounds safety overrun is 30 feet wide by 60 feet long (1,800 sq. ft.). If space is tighter, a 26 x 52 ft footprint can accommodate recreational play.

Can a pickleball court double as a basketball half-court?

Yes. The Home Club frequently designs multi-sport courts combining pickleball with an adjustable basketball hoop, volleyball net lines, or badminton lines using color-differentiated paint schemes.

How much does it cost to build a residential pickleball court?

A turnkey residential pickleball court typically costs between $25,000 and $60,000 depending on ground grading, concrete slab thickness, post-tensioning, acrylic cushion surfacing, containment fencing, and court illumination. The Home Club provides detailed 3D plans and pricing in minutes.

What court surfacing materials does The Home Club use?

We apply 100% acrylic multi-layer sports coating systems featuring specialized silica texture for predictable non-skid traction and true ball bounce in all weather conditions.
